| Description |
English: South Staffordshire Railway Walk Started in 1912 this GWR line opened in 1925 serving the western side of Dudley and Wolverhampton. The passenger service was shortlived finishing in 1932. The line was used for freight only except for a short period following D-Day when evacuation trains brought the wounded to the hospitals in the area. The final train ran on 24th June 1965. It is now used as a railway walk. |
