English:

The South Park Fieldhouse was one of the first recreation buildings constructed by the Seattle Parks Department and served the diverse community of South Park. Dedicated in 1913, the field house contained a gym complete with lockers and showers, a social room, a crafts room, kitchen, and staff room. The ball field was used by a variety of sports organizations, including a Japanese American baseball team and martial arts group.

Caption on verso: South Park Field House and Grounds - The city of Seattle owns 22 playgrounds, from a block to thirty acres in area. Twelve are equipped with modern outdoor gymnasium, with experienced supervisors in charge. Four have field or recreation houses, with gymnasiums, libraries, club rooms and assembly halls.
