Description Une fois l'armistice du 22 juin 1940 signée, Strasbourg fut rattaché au IIIe Reich ainsi que sa région. L'université de Strasbourg avait dès lors fuit à Clermont-Ferrand et maintenait cette université ouverte. Le nouveau régime en place décida alors de créer une nouvelle université : la Reichsuniversität Straßburg. Et fit venir des professeurs de tout l'empire allemand pour occuper ces grands bâtiments vides. Puis enfin, retour à la photo, ils eurent l'excellente idée de repeindre plusieurs parties de cette université comme cette petite coupole qui vient d'être débarrassée de cet hideux beige qui nous cachait ces belles peintures. Une campagne de financement est en cours pour restaurer les autres coupoles.
