Description
Français : Souelaba.

Rien ne prépare suffisamment votre jargon pour transcrire ce qu'est l'originalité de ce promontoire vu du ciel. La photo aussi, échoue. Le Cadre est petit et les détails ne grossissent pas à l'infini. Elle demeure cependant, l'implacablement fugace instant de la beauté qui s'éternise ici et que l'on ne peut transporter nulle part.

Il y a quand même un fait de géographie à retenir. Souelaba est une bande de terre que la nature construit en faisant échouer du sable venu de la Sanaga à la rencontre avec le courant du Wouri et des multiples criques. La danse des eaux dessine un syphon et le sable s'y dépose jusqu'à étirer ses bancs en haute mer, ceux-ci s'avancent très loin dans les eaux.

C'est le point le plus Ouest du Parc National de Douala-Edea que 36 kilomètres d'eaux séparent du quai de la Capitale économique..
