Summary
[edit]DescriptionSoudley Bridge, Forest of Dean - geograph.org.uk - 1036463.jpg |
English: Soudley Bridge, Forest of Dean At the junction of the road leading to Blackpool and the continuing Cinderford to Blakeney road is this bridge at Soudley. The parapets are remarkably low - low enough, in fact, to sit on and the drop onto the rocky stream bed is not to be recommended. For all that, the Cinderford brook passing underneath has, by now, become completely naturalised and is very pretty. The occasional Dipper can sometimes be observed walking in the fast slowing stream beneath the bridge. |
