Description
Français : Soudan en 1993. La zone rose au sud est le Soudan du Sud. Les trois villages sont le "triangle de la faim", nom utilisé par les organisations humanitaires dans les années 1990 pour désigner la zone définie par les communautés sud-soudanaises de Kongor, Ayod et Waat. Elle dépend de l'UNESCO et d'autres organisations humanitaires pour lutter contre la famine. Ayod est mis en évidence, car l'image est destinée à illustrer l'article La Fillette et le Vautour.
