La Balade pour la Paix, rue Sherbrooke, Montréal

« Explorant la relation entre forme et symbole, Etrog travaille sur le concept de dualité. Sunbird II propose une méditation sur l'existence, la liberté et l'acceptation des antagonismes. Ses motifs archétypaux sont ici une roue, un soleil, un casque et un oiseau. Une nouvelle édition de l'oeuvre fut offerte en 1994 au cimetière militaire canadien de Bény-sur-Mer, en Normandie, pour honorer les deux mille soldats canadiens morts après le débarquement de Juno Beach, à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Etrog, qui n'avait que onze and en 1994 lorsque les Russes ont libéré sa ville se Iași, en Roumanie, s'identifie aux habitants de Bény-sur-Mer, dont le sentiment de gratitude envers leurs libérateurs reste encore vif... un demi-siècle plus tard. »
