Español: En el año 2017, mientras estudiaba la licenciatura en música en la universidad de Sonora, enseñada por la maestra Gabriela Copca Carrillo, la primera edición del concurso llamado Sonora International Opera Competition Francisco Araiza tomó lugar en Las Fiestas del Pitic, el festival de música y arte más grande de la ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora. Francisco Araiza, quien le da nombre a este concurso y fue jurado del mismo, es un cantante de ópera mexicano con voz de tenor, y fue el primer tenor mexicano en destacar a nivel internacional. Saraí audicionó para dicho concurso y, aunque no pasó todos los filtros por el rango de edad y de nacionalidad tan grande de los concursantes, pudo tener acceso a una masterclass en la cual cantó para los presentes incluidos Francisco Araiza, quien luego de escucharla cantar no dudó en proponerle que lo acompañase a Viena a un viaje de estudios. Saraí fue becada por Araiza y se fue el verano del 2017 a Viena, Austria, lo que describe como uno de los sucesos más importantes de toda su carrera. Una experiencia que la retó a ser mejor, a conocer un lugar y personas nuevas, pero sobre todo la impulsó a darse cuenta de algo muy importante que marcaría el rumbo de su vida: quedarse en su ciudad natal era lo que realmente quería. |
