Fulham Palace: An hospitable seat of the Bishop of London. In its muniment room are some three thousand documents bearing upon the early history of our Church in America, the Bishop of London having jurisdiction over the Colonial Church until it had Bishops of its own. In the Fulham library too was found about 1855, after a disappearance of over a century, Bradford's History of Plymouth Plantation or The Log of the Mayflower, returned to Massachusetts in 1897.
