Español: SOLSTICIOS Y EQUINOCCIOS.
Los EQUINOCCIOS, del latín "de igual noche", ocurren el 20-21 de Marzo y el 22-23 de Septiembre respectivamente, y es cuando la noche y el día tienen la misma duración horaria, excepto en los polos terrestres donde el Sol (centro) se lo ve todo el día sobre el horizonte. En ambos casos la declinación solar será de 0°. Dada la precesión de los equinoccios, en la actualidad el "punto de Aries" se encuentra en la constelación de Pisces ("punto de Pisces") y el "punto de Libra" en Virgo ("punto de Virgo"). Los SOLSTICIOS, del latín "Sol quieto", ocurren el 20-21 de Junio y el 21-22 de Diciembre. El 21 de Junio la declinación solar es máxima y de +23° 27' (hemisferio celeste boreal) y con mayor duración del día de luz solar en el hemisferio Norte. El 21 de Diciembre la declinación solar es mínima y de -23° 27' (hemisferio celeste austral) y con mayor duración del día de luz solar en el hemisferio Sur. |
