James Vantassel, logistics noncommissioned officer in charge for Task Force Medical-East, accounts for medical equipment Nov. 15 at the recently closed El Salam Egyptian Hospital at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The equipment which was loaned to Egyptian medical personnel by the U.S. military will be removed from TF-Med East property books and sent to the Bagram Air Field retrosort yard where it can be inventoried and returned to the U.S. military system or given to Afghans through the Foreign Excess Personal Property program.
