English: A Soldier tows a simulated casualty to the next station during the stress shoot event at the annual New York Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition March 27, 2015, at Camp Smith, N.Y. During the stress shoot event the competitors had to hit a standard M16 target, starting at 300 meters, firing between running, dragging a litter with 145 lbs. of weight, carrying a water can, and running again. The competitors were scored on both their accuracy and time taken to complete each portion. The Best Warrior competitors represent each of New York's brigades after winning competitions at the company, battalion and brigade levels. At the state level they are tested on their physical fitness, military knowledge, endurance, marksmanship, and land navigation skills. The two winners of the competition, one junior enlisted and one NCO, advance to compete at the regional level later this year.
