English: Sgt. 1st Class Matthew R. Lewis, a communications sergeant with the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Carson, Colo., demonstrates the proper way to perform a pushup at the East-West challenge contest during All American Bowl week in San Antonio, Jan. 1, 2014. Lewis and nine other soldiers from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command are attending the event as mentors to 90 of the nation's top high school football stars, along with 125 top high school marching band musicians and Color Guard members. Culminating the weeklong activities is the U.S. Army All American Bowl, the premier high school football game in the country for more than a decade. (Official photo by Jerry Green) |
