English: Equipment and supplies sit outside the Army Ebola testing lab in Zwedru, ran by Soldiers of the 1st Area Medical Laboratory, based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., Feb. 9, 2015. The Zwedru lab is the first of four laboratories that 1st AML will shut down in the next few weeks. These labs are part of the Joint Forces Command – United Assistance fight against the Ebola outbreak. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
