Description
Deutsch: Das Foto zeigt den Eingangsbereich des Soldatenfriedhofes in Halbe, ca. 35 km südlich von Berlin. Die Bild- und Schrifttafeln informieren in deutsch und englisch über die in diesem Gebiet in den letzten Apriltagen 1945 stattgefundene Kesselschlacht. Dabei kamen einige 10000 deutsche Soldaten ums Leben, ein Teil von ihnen fand auf diesem Waldfriedhof ihre letzte Ruhe.
