| Description |
English: The apple of Sodom (Calotropis procera) is a green plant mostly found in North Africa and Western Asia. It belongs to the family Apocynaceae. In it's unprocessed state is toxic and has an irritable effect on the skin. It is used medicinally in the South and tropic America to treat skin problems including wounds, sores, infections, eczemas and even paralysis. |
