Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Micrograph of NaH7 in a diamond anvil cell. The dark sample in a gasket hole is Au+Na. The transparent part is NaH+H2, the smaller dark circle with a green laser spot is a reacted area. The darker colour of the reacted area is compatible with a reduced bandgap (∼2 eV) obtained in the DFT calculations.
