Smt.Anuradha Krishnamurthy is a multifaceted personality.

She is the daughter of the great Carnatic musician, "Sangeetha Kalanidhi",Shri K.V Narayanaswamy.She started learning music at the age of three and started rendering concerts at ten .She has won many awards. Her casettes of Thiruppavai are very famous. She has conducted music seminars for students of Carnatic music.. I started admiring her when she appeared in the television programme on carnatic music,"Raagam-Sangeetham". Her charm, her deep and rich voice and the grace with which she talked to the participants appealed to me.

Then she became a renowned actress through a key-role in the famous Tamil serial."Sahana" by the veteran director,Shri.K.Balachander(Also my favourite film-director).She has acted as a young mother in the Tamil film,"Amirtham".She has acted as a musician in these too therby giving a chance for the masses to get a taste of her prowess in music.

Though she is a celebrity, one can perceive striking simplicity and modesty about her, which I like most in her that makes me admire her more.

(I took this photo just before she started the concert.When I said I was a fan of hers, she was so kind to pose for this and to my surprise, invited me too to have a photo with her.That revealed how nice, kind and simple she is)
