Description
English: Smithy Lodge. Situated by the Middleton Road entrance to Heaton Park, Manchester. Called Smithy Lodge because a blacksmith's workshop was situated close by when it was built. Built in the 1770s for the Egerton family, owners of Heaton Hall at that time.
