Summary
[edit]DescriptionSmith's Travel Coach - geograph.org.uk - 3058977.jpg |
English: An abandoned coach (reg. AKX 96K) in a farmer's field in Lenham Heath in Kent. The premises apparently have something to do with the Kent coach company AJ & NM Carr. It's a 1971 AEC Reliance single-decker with Plaxton Panorama Elite Express bodywork. It was new to Wesley of Stoke Goldington. It was still in service as of 1994, performing school runs with at least one other similar coach (reg. LGH 432P) in the fleet of Kent based operator Smith's of Brenzett, whose livery it still wears in this image. |
