| Description |
English: Sluice gate on leat in Yarner Wood. Much of the water in the leat tips to the left down into the nearby Yarner Stream, and after recent heavy rains there was plenty of it. This is the Pottery Leat, also shown on a dry stretch in 40136, which was blocked in 1978 by the shaft collapse in the disused copper mine less than a hundred metres up the hillside - see 831845. |
