Description
English: Edgar Stirling Auchincloss and Hugh Dudley Auchincloss' 70 footer sloop Katrina (Archibald Cary Smith design, 1888), built of steel at the Piepgras shipyard, City Island. She is pictured here in the New London to Newport leg of the New York Yacht Club annual cruise, in which she earned a second place in her class on August 4th, 1892.
