Description
English: Charles A. Prince and Dr. John Bryant's racing sloop Beatrix, later rechristened Harpoon. She was yacht designer Edward Burgess's natural evolution of the compromise sloop, the only centerboarder of new 1891 46-footers and the only real contender to the class champion Gloriana. She is pictures racinf in the Corynthian sweepstakes.
