Italiano: Mentre la popolazione locale si muoveva per lo più a pedi, ai "signori" veniva offerto il servizio in slitta con sedili rinforzati e cuscini da Varenna a Esino (per 4,5 lire nel 1906)
English: While the locals generally moved on foot, richer visitors were offered a special service comfortably ensconced on cushions from Varenna to Esino (on 4,5 lire in 1906)
