Summary
[edit]DescriptionSlightly higher ground - geograph.org.uk - 873676.jpg |
English: Slightly higher ground On the 1:25000 map, one can see that the public footpath runs along a very slight ridge, just above the five-metre contour line. This faint ridge is what remains of the Old East Sea Bank, which used to form the edge of the salt-marshes of the Wash. The ridge is just about visible on the ground and in this picture, and it looks like the path follows the line between the wheat and the other, younger crop |
