Description
Nederlands: Slag bij Nieuwpoort. De kunstverzameling van de Koning was zowel omvangrijk als divers en omvatte onder meer schilderijen van oude en eigentijdse meesters. Dit schilderij van Nicaise de Keyser (1813-1887) uit 1843 toont een zegevierende Prins Maurits in de Slag bij Nieuwpoort (1600) met rechts op de voorgrond de verslagen Spaanse legeraanvoerder Francisco de Mendoza.
