Description After spreading geotextile fabric as a friction reducing layer, slab installation began. Crews used a crane to help place the PPCP panels during the FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with Virginia DOT to demonstrate the use of precast concrete pavement system (PCPS) technology to replace concrete slabs on a section of I-66 during nighttime.
