Summary
[edit]DescriptionSkunky monkeyflower, Diplacus mephiticus (31171820740).jpg |
skunky monkeyflower, Diplacus mephiticus, Nevada, Granite Hills, Silver Knolls Park, Lemmon Valley drainage, elevation 1585 m (5195 ft). Like a few other Diplacus species, skunky monkeyflower is dimorphic for flower color, with the yellow and magenta forms often mixed together in the same population, as at this location. But almost as often I have seen populations with only one of the color forms present. |
