Description
Svenska: Skoklosters slott: (Drabantsalen?). Tapeterna skildrar bl.a. slaget vid Granicus.
"Genève" på Gästvåningen på Skokloster. "Genève" är ett av praktgemaken på Skoklosters slott. I rummet "Genève" är väggarna prydda med två av de från Salsta slott komna synnerligen dyrbara s.k. Bielketapeterna, vilka som motiv har scener ur Alexander den stores historia. De vävdes efter Charles Le Bruns kartonger i Bryssel på 1670-talet och skänktes av Ludvig XIV till Nils Bielke under dennes tid som Parisambassadör. Den på bilden synliga tapeten längst till vänster visar Alexanders anfall på perserhären efter övergången av Granicus.
