I was down near the river taking photos. I was a few metres from the road with my back to it composing for a shot when I all the sudden heard tyres screech. So I went to quickly turn around, I'd only moved about an inch when BAM, whollop, bang!!!! I was hit from behind and apparently out cold for a few minutes lying flat on the ground. When I came too I instantly thought I've just been hit by a car. I was in a hell of a lot of pain. But what had happened is a car had hit the brakes to miss a Kangaroo, the roo panicked and did one giant leap to get out of the way and basically landed bang on top of me. Geesh... The uncanny life of a photographer.
