| Description |
English: Skew railway bridge, Kennet and Avon Canal The canal, of course, was here first, but for its whole length it was later joined by the almost-parallel Great Western Railway, which occupied a position mainly to the north of the canal, except for a few miles near Newbury. Here the railway again swings to the south, remaining on that side for the next few miles until west of Hungerford. |
