| Description |
English: Skenfrith Bridge and the River Monnow The Monnow flows down through Grosmont and Skenfrith and is one of the larger tributaries of the Wye. It rises in the upland areas of the Black Mountains but for much of its length, it flows through a gentle, fertile valley. Here, the waters, muddy after recent heavy rainfall, flow under Skenfrith Bridge, rebuilt in 1824. |
