Description
Norsk bokmål: Skansenøyra nature reserve is located by Rognan in Saltdal municipality in Nordland, Norway. The nature reserve comprises a delta area in the Saltdalselva outlet in the Saltdalsfjord. The area has an area of 208 acres, of which 15 acres are land area. The area is protected to preserve the most pristine part of an endangered wetland type with great regional conservation value, especially due to its functions for the locality's rich and varied bird life and the area's importance as an excursion area.
