Contents Note: [1] A view of Louisbourg Harbor, on the south coast of the Island of Cape Breton, the lighthouse bearing N.N.E, [2] A view of the shore to the westward of Gabarus Bay, on the south coast of Breton Island, [3] West shore of Richmond Isle, near the entrance of the Gut of Canso. (This view shows a surveyor at work.), [4] A view of the S.W. shore of Cape Breton Island, from St.Peter's Bay eastward, [5] Ramea Isles on the S.W. coast of Newfoundland, bearing N.N.W. 4 miles distant, [6] Sta. Maria Island the southernmost of the western isles, bearing N.bE. 9 leagues distant.
