| Description |
English: Site of Holton Village Halt The slight rise in the road is a giveaway for the former level crossing on the East Lincolnshire Line of the Great Northern Railway. Holton Village Halt was situated to the north of the road and opened in 1905. The white building is the former station building (extended in recent years) and as its style is very similar to Great Northern buildings of 60 years earlier was probably initially built as a crossing keeper's cottage and later adapted to station use. |
