| Description |
English: Site of Grange Court Junction and railway station There was quite a large station here, serving the South Wales line and the line to Hereford. When the latter closed to passengers in 1964, Grange Court station closed with it. When Nigel Thompson visited the site (SO7216 : Grange Court railway station (site), Gloucestershire)just over six months previously the goods loop was still in situ, albeit disused: now, the track has been lifted and only the rotting sleepers remain. Compare also to David Stowell's 2005 photo SO7216 : Grange Court Junction. |
