Description
Français : Cet appareil faisait partie d'un appareil plus grand qui servait à granuler les gâteaux de poudre noire. Préalablement cassés en petits morceaux, les gâteaux sont introduits sur un convoyeur où ils seront broyés entre des rouleaux en bronze. Ces rouleaux sont changés selon la taille souhaitée des granules. Les granules sont ensuite tamisées selon leur taille. Cet appareil se trouve près des ruines 11 (consulter la carte plus bas pour la numérotation) du site du patrimoine de La Poudrière à Windsor au Québec.

L'atelier de menuiserie, qui sert aussi d'accueil, se trouve en haut à gauche de la carte. Il borde un réservoir d'eau artificiel créé par le barrage principal. Un premier pont piétonnier longe le barrage. Les ruines des installations sont numérotés de 1 à 15. Un autre pont piétonnier relie les ruines 5 et 6. En haut de la carte à la droite, un lieu permet d'observer le réservoir et quelques attraits du site.
