Description
English: Sir John Phillipps' memorial Ornate and imposing marble memorial on the left of the altar in St Mary's church, with a bust of the deceased and an assortment of putti in various poses all surmounted by a shield. Sir John Phillipps of Picton Castle died in 1736 at the age of 77. He was MP for Pembroke and one of the Commissioners for Fifty New Churches in London.
