Ελληνικά: καρστική πηγή „Σίντζι“, στην άκρη μιας κλειστής γεωλογικής λεκάνης „Βλαχέρνα Αρκαδίας/Χωτούσσα/Κανδήλα Αρκαδίας” (κοντά σε Λεβίδι Αρκαδίας, Πελοπόννησος). Το νερό ανεβαίνει από το σπηλιά, από βάθος 186 μέτρων (2015). Η ποσότητα του νερού ποικίλλει αναλογα με τις βροχοτπώσεις και την εποχή. Τα βουνά είναι βασικά ασβεστόλοθος. Το οροπέδιο είναι αργιλώδες έδαφος και κατω από αυτό, είναι καλυπτονται από συντρίμμια βράχου. English: en:Karst spring „Sintzi“, located in the large karst basin Vlacherna/Hotoussa/Kandila in Arcadia (Peloponnese). The karst water rises up from a cave, 186m deep (2015). The amount of the water varies, according to rainfall and season. While the mountain is basically limestone, the flat is highly accumulated, loamy soil and below, remains of scree. An der Quellöffnung führt eine Wasserhöhle bis auf 186m Tiefe (Tauchexpeditionen, Stand: 2015). Die Schüttung der relativ großen Karstquelle hängt vom lokalen, jahreszeitlich variierenden Niederschlag ab, d. h., vom Wasseraufkommen und der Höhe des Wasserspiegels des lokalen Karst-Aquifers. Die Karstquelle liegt - wie üblich - am Saum des Berghangs, der vollständig aus dem Karstgestein der wasserdurchlässigen, griechischen Olonos-Pindos-Nappe besteht, während die flache, fruchtbare Ebene eine um viele Meter aufgeschüttetes Sediment bildet. Auf Satellitenfotos kann man das Ergrünen des quellnahen Ebenenteils deutlich erkennen. |
