Kerk in neogotische stijl, gebouwd in 1877. Ze geldt als voorbeeld van de sobere bouwstijl geïnspireerd door de 13de eeuwse Brugse gotiek. Jean-Baptiste Vermeulen van Kasteel Ortegat stelde in 1876 grond en geld ter beschikking voor de bouw van een kerk.
