Description

Opgericht in 1628 door Philips van der Haeghen, heer van Roden als dankbetuiging voor de genezing van hun dochtertje. Oorspronkelijk een votiefkapel toegewijd aan Sint-Antonius abt, evolueerde de bidplaats tot een bedevaartsoord van deze heilige.

Founded in 1628 by Philips van der Haeghen, lord of Roden, in gratitude for the healing of his daughter.

Originally a votive chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony, the place of prayer evolved into a place of pilgrimage to this saint.
