English: Sevdie Institute of Management & Technology, Lucknow, inaugurated as a Private Polytechnic Diploma College in Lucknow UP on 16th of September, 2002 with a distinct vision of promoting excellence in Polytechnic Diploma courses, Technical & Managerial Education at national level, behind this there was an initiative and foresightedness of the educationist & Administrator, Engineer Shri Ram Sigh Ji, who was the founder Chairman of this Institute. The Institute is duly affiliated to Board of Technical Education (B.T.E) U.P. authorized for polytechnic diploma courses & also approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi, for technical education and degree and diploma. The Institute is spread over a land of 2.5 Acres. The Institute is fully equipped with all Modern Infrastructure for teaching & imparting practical training to the students. The College started with three Courses; presently we are running 09 Courses. As a technical, Managerial Education and Polytechnic courses in Lucknow, UP, SIMT campus is spread over an area of 2.5 acre interspersed with over 70000 sq. /ft built up area and lush green lawns. It is divided into four interconnected blocks – A, B, C & D, each having four floors which have spacious corridors and well laid out staircase. Best in class infrastructure is exhibited by well ventilated spacious classrooms, fully equipped labs & workshops and fully loaded library which makes friendly environment for Polytechnic Diploma courses, technical and & Managerial Education. The institute is also equipped with CCTV in classes & labs for enhanced output, and speakers for disbursement of centralized notices. The serene exteriors sculpted with leafy trees & foliage, housing some of the rare plants as Rudrahksh, Kapoor and Kumkum to name a few, good land & landscaping coupled with appealing interiors tempting slogans and quotations, making it conducive for growth and learning.
