Description
English: Simpson Memorial On the path up Colley Hill, on one of the medieval routes out of Reigate over the North Downs, leading on to Walton Heath.

It is made from pink granite and the inscription on the south face reads:

"Feb 1910 This part of Colley Hill was given to Reigate in memory of George Simpson Captain the 5th Battalion The Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment commanding the Reigate Detachment A and B Companies of that Corps by his mother".

The land in question is now part of a much larger holding by the National Trust.
