English: The start of an unpleasant 2-week trip to Kinshasa, Zaire in 1995, with a departure from Ostend in 9G-ADS.
This is Simba Air Boeing 707-336C 5Y-SIM (c/n 20517). It had previously flown with BOAC as G-AYLT, then with GKN, ZAS as SU-DAD, Air Hong Kong as VR-HKK and Phoenix as 9G-TWO. By 2008 it had become ST-AQW with Sudanese State Aviation and was in open storage at Khartoum by 2010. Photo: Dick Gilbert, Ostend 28 July 1995. |
