Silver unit of the Cantiaci
Description
English: A silver Iron Age unit of the Kent Region / Cantiaci, struck in the name Dubnovellaunos (c.25 BC - AD 5), dating to the period c.25 BC- AD 5, 'Dubnovellaunos Winged Beast' type. Obverse: Winged beast (griffin?) right. Reverse: Horse left, right foreleg raised. As ABC, p. 39, no. 321; VA 171; BMC 2499-2501; Sillls 179.

Measurements: 13.21mm in diameter, 2.04mm thick and 1.04g in weight.
