Size: 12.7 x 10.3 x 4.8 cm.
A great historic representative specimen of Native Silver from the famous Tenmile Mining District in Summit County, Colorado. The piece is filled with hundreds of small crystalline "wires" of Silver which are associated with tabular white Baryte and crystallized Galena. Specimens from this area are few and far between on the market, and I would safely estimate that this piece is 60-70 years old. It's a rather hefty specimen, and one of only a handful of specimens that I have ever seen from this area. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
