Description
Bahasa Indonesia: dahulunya Candi tak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat pemujaan atau penyimpanan benda-benda pusaka, tetapi pula menjadi tempat bagi pembakaran mayat ataupun penyimpanan abu jenazah. Candi Brahu diduga kuat merupakan salah satu candi dengan fungsi sakral tersebut. Candi Brahu terbuat dari tanah liat/batu bata.candi ini didirikan pada abad ke-15 Masehi meskipun masih terdapat perbedaan pendapat mengenai hal ini. Ada yang mengatakan bahwa candi ini berusia jauh lebih tua daripada candi-candi lain di sekitar Trowulan.
