| Description |
English: A site about the archaeology on the spot mentions "The necropolis is spread over the southwest, northwest and north slopes of the city, and the tombs here are generally of the chamosorion type. [...] In most of the graves, the bedrock was carved and sometimes single and sometimes multiple khamasorion type boat arrangements draw attention. These must be family graves. " The chamosorion type of grave is a type where a sarcophus-like rectangular space is dug in the rock, and covered by a lid that may be flat or roof-like, with or without ornamentation. |
