Description
English: Two U.S. Navy Sikorsky MH-60S Seahawk of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 (HSC-23) "Wildcards" and of HSC-25 "Island Knights" approach the decommissioned frigate USS Ford (FFG-54) in the Philippine Sea on 1 October 2019 to attack with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, as U.S. Navy ships, aircraft and a submarine, and Republic of Singapore ships fire at Ford during a sinking exercise (SINKEX) as part of Exercise Pacific Griffin 2019. Pacific Griffin is a biennial exercise conducted in the waters near Guam aimed at enhancing combined proficiency at sea while strengthening relationships between the U.S. and Republic of Singapore navies.
