| Description |
English: Signal Repeater – A repeater is combination of a sensitive receiver and high power transmitter located in an advantageous spot to simultaneously receive and transmit a radio signal , repeaters are often sited on mountains or very high towers to increase their range , iinstead of having to use high power transmitters and large antennas, small handheld radios have unprecedented range, repeaters increase our range and make it possible to use small handheld radios to communicate.
Македонски: Репетиторот за пренос на сигнал се поставуваат на место каде преносот со кабел е невозможен поради должината и слабеење на сигналот, така да на местото каде имаме добар сигнал репетиторот го засилува и го пренесува на друг сегмент на репетиторот со ист протокол односно пристап на физички медијум, ЛЛЦ (Local Link Control) или CSMA/CD , тоа значи да Етхернет пакет не може да се преноси со Токен Ринг пакет при употреба на репетиторот , но со измена на тенките коаксијални жици на оптички сегмент се прифаќа таква физичка врска. |
